Our Handmade Processes

Our silk scarves are more than accessories — they are handwoven stories, crafted entirely by artisans in India using time-honored techniques.

It begins with silk, hand-spun on traditional charkhas (spinning wheels), then carefully hand-loomed to create a fabric rich in softness and texture. Once woven, the scarves are gently steamed to set the weave, then sun-dried — just as artisans have done for generations.

From there, each piece goes through a journey of hand-finishing: hand-printing, hand-dyeing, delicate embroidery, and sometimes hand-painting — each scarf touched by many hands, each step adding character and beauty.

Edges are hand-stitched. Tassels and fringes are twisted and knotted, one by one, by hand. Finally, the scarf is pressed with a hand iron, giving it a smooth, flawless finish.

The result? A scarf that is completely unique — full of soul, craftsmanship, and quiet elegance. No two are ever alike, because no two hands work exactly the same.
