Chandresh Sheth founded Elegant Additions Inc. in 1986 with a simple dream, one that began as he walked the streets of New York City, inspired by its towering high-rises and refined showrooms. He envisioned building a brand that would one day reflect timeless design, global influence, and handcrafted excellence.

With the dedication of 26 exceptional sales representatives across the country, we expanded rapidly—introducing our handmade silk scarves and accessories to museums, high- end boutiques, department stores, and major retail chains. Supported by factors and our membership with the National Fashion Accessories Association (NFAA), Elegant Additions quickly earned a reputation as a leading name in artisan silk fashion.

Exhibiting at domestic and international trade shows introduced us to prestigious buyers, creating proud moments that affirmed our designs were not only reaching new markets but also resonating on a global scale.

As the business evolved, so did the family behind it. My daughter, Amy Sheth, joined the company, bringing with her a fresh perspective and modern touch. Though she studied biology, Amy had creativity in her blood. Inspired by the foundation I built and driven by her own artistic instincts, she began introducing contemporary patterns, and silhouettes to our collections—blending tradition with innovation.

Today, Elegant Additions remains a family-run brand rooted in passion, craftsmanship, and enduring style. With two generations working side by side, we continue to honor our legacy while looking ahead to a future shaped by creativity and connection.
